A hearing in the case concerning former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s Twitter account and tweets is scheduled to take place before the Islamabad High Court on Thursday, September 10, 2026.
According to a statement issued regarding Imran Khan’s ongoing legal cases, the hearing will take place at 9:00 a.m. before Justice Arbab Muhammad Tahir.
Petition Seeks Closure of Imran Khan’s Twitter Account

However, according to the legal statement, that meeting did not take place.
Legal Team Says Instructions Could Not Be Obtained
The inability to meet Imran Khan has become a significant issue for his legal team ahead of the hearing.
According to the statement, Salman Akram Raja was expected to meet Imran Khan and seek his instructions regarding the Twitter case. The alleged failure to facilitate that meeting means that the lawyer has been unable to obtain direct instructions from his client.
The matter is therefore set to come before the Islamabad High Court on September 10 amid questions over whether Imran Khan has been provided a meaningful opportunity to instruct his counsel in a case directly concerning his social media account.
