Several important legal matters concerning former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s constitutional, legal, and human rights are scheduled for hearing before Pakistan’s superior courts on June 18, 2026.
In the Supreme Court of Pakistan, two significant appeals are set to be heard before Bench No. 3, comprising Justice Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Justice Musarrat Hilali, and Justice Shahid Hassan.
The first appeal, filed by Dr. Uzma Khan, concerns the provision of adequate medical facilities and an independent medical examination for Imran Khan. The second appeal, filed by Salman Akram Raja, challenges restrictions imposed on meetings and access to Imran Khan.
Meanwhile, the Islamabad High Court is scheduled to hear proceedings in the Al-Qadir Trust case. The matter includes a contempt petition regarding the continued failure to facilitate Imran Khan’s signing of powers of attorney and legal documents.
According to the legal team, persistent delays and obstacles in obtaining signatures on legal documents are adversely affecting Imran Khan’s constitutional right to legal representation, access to counsel, and the ability to pursue legal remedies before the courts.
Separately, legal representatives have stated that appeals directly filed by Imran Khan concerning medical issues remain pending administrative processing, preventing substantive hearings on those petitions from commencing.
