Serious concerns have been raised about the health and safety of former Prime Minister Imran Khan after his sister, Dr. Uzma Khan, warned that his life may be in danger.
Speaking publicly, Dr. Uzma Khan stated, “I say it again: they want to kill Imran Khan. We don’t know what is happening in jail. Bring Imran Khan before us.” She expressed alarm over the lack of transparency regarding his condition while in custody.
Imran Khan is currently being held in solitary confinement, with strict restrictions on meetings and access. Concerns have intensified as relatives and supporters say very limited information is being shared about his health.
Dr. Uzma Khan also claimed that the former Prime Minister’s eyesight has deteriorated significantly, alleging that he has lost nearly 85 percent of his vision and requires urgent medical attention.
In December last year, Imran Khan had warned that that he feared he could be killed while in custody. The latest statements from his family have renewed calls for transparency regarding his health, access to medical care, and the conditions of his detention.
