EuroPak Report Raises Alarm Over Imran Khan’s Health in Adiala Jail

A new evidence-based report issued by EuroPak International has raised serious concerns about the health of former Prime Minister Imran Khan during his detention in Adiala Jail.

The report, compiled by Norwegian researcher Dr. Nadia Arshad, documents what it describes as a significant deterioration in Khan’s health. It highlights issues including prolonged solitary confinement, denial of legal access, and substandard detention conditions that are reportedly posing urgent and life-threatening risks.

According to the report, these conditions may constitute violations of the Nelson Mandela Rules, which set international standards for the treatment of prisoners and guarantee access to proper medical care and humane conditions.

EuroPak has called on international institutions and global human rights bodies to take immediate action to ensure independent medical examination, full transparency regarding Khan’s health, and accountability for any violations of international detention standards.
