Kasim Khan Thanks Greg Chappell for Speaking Out on Imran Khan’s Health and Detention

Kasim Khan, son of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has publicly expressed gratitude to former Australian cricket captain Greg Chappell for raising his voice regarding his father’s health and prison conditions.

In a message shared publicly, Kasim said he was “deeply appreciative” of Chappell’s support. He described it as heartening to see global cricketing leaders call for dignity and justice while his father remains in solitary confinement for nearly 1,000 days.

Kasim Khan also highlighted serious health concerns, stating that his father has reportedly lost approximately 85 percent of the vision in his right eye and continues to be denied proper medical care, as well as access to his personal doctors and family members.

He concluded by thanking Greg Chappell and all those who have stood beside Imran Khan during what he described as a prolonged and difficult period.

The statement adds to growing international voices from the cricketing community expressing concern over Imran Khan’s health and detention conditions.
