Aleema Khan Raises Serious Concerns Over Proposed Medical Board for Imran Khan

Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has issued a strong statement expressing grave concerns over recent reports regarding his medical treatment.

According to her statement, a Federal Minister indicated in a tweet that a medical board may be constituted for Imran Khan. Media reports have also suggested that preparations are underway to transfer him to Al-Shifa International Hospital in Rawalpindi for treatment.

Aleema Khan emphasized that the family’s position has been clear and unequivocal from the beginning: Imran Khan must not receive any medical treatment without the presence and approval of his personal physicians and family members.

She categorically rejected any unilateral medical board formed by what she described as the “regime,” particularly one operating under its supervision. The family, she stated, would also not accept any medical report or findings prepared under such oversight.

“It is deeply concerning for our family,” she said, “that the inclusion and participation of specialist doctors recommended by Imran Khan’s personal physicians are being opposed.”

Aleema Khan raised several pointed questions:

  • Why is the proposal for treatment under the supervision of Imran Khan’s own doctors being rejected?
  • Why are restrictions being placed on the presence of his family during medical procedures?
  • Why is there such intense resistance surrounding these matters?
  • Is this an attempt to conceal something?

The statement underscores growing tensions and concerns about transparency in the handling of Imran Khan’s medical care, with the family demanding full disclosure and independent oversight to ensure his safety and well-being.
