The family of former Prime Minister Imran Khan has shared a medical report issued by the Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences (PIMS) detailing the treatments he has undergone. The report confirms that Imran Khan has been diagnosed with Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO), a serious eye condition that can affect vision.
Commenting on the report, Dr. Aasim Yusuf expressed concern over Khan’s medical care, stating that despite the diagnosis, Imran Khan has not been examined by a specialist. He emphasized that CRVO is a highly specialized condition requiring expert treatment beyond routine ophthalmological care.
Dr. Yusuf warned that the absence of proper specialist consultation could pose serious risks to Khan’s health and stressed the need for immediate, independent, and specialized medical attention.
