Imran Khan’s sisters were once again denied access to the former prime minister on a scheduled family meeting day, raising fresh concerns over his well-being and the continued denial of his basic rights.
The denial comes amid circulating reports from multiple sources suggesting that Imran Khan is unwell, intensifying public anxiety over his health. Despite these concerns, the family meeting was not allowed to take place.
In response, PTI workers and party leaders gathered outside Adiala Jail to protest, demanding compliance with court orders and the restoration of Imran Khan’s fundamental human rights. Protesters said that despite clear legal directives and human rights standards, the decision of a single authority appeared to override court orders, effectively suspending due process.
Imran Khan remains in prolonged solitary confinement, while restrictions on family visits, legal access, and medical care continue. Observers warn that continued isolation, coupled with emerging health rumours, poses a serious risk to his physical and mental well-being.
Human rights advocates and party officials are calling for immediate access for family and doctors, transparency regarding his health, and adherence to court orders, stressing that justice must be served and the rule of law upheld.
