Former Prime Minister Imran Khan is reportedly suffering from Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO), a serious eye condition that can lead to blurred vision or permanent vision loss if left untreated, according to information shared by Asad Ullah Khan.
CRVO occurs when the main vein draining blood from the retina becomes blocked. Medical experts note that the condition is often associated with high blood pressure, diabetes, or glaucoma, and requires timely diagnosis and specialist treatment to prevent irreversible damage.
The report has intensified concerns over Khan’s health, as he has repeatedly stated that he is being held under inhumane conditions, including prolonged solitary confinement, with no access to his personal doctors. Family visits and medical consultations, according to his statements and party officials, remain severely restricted.
Imran Khan has previously warned that denial of proper medical care and isolation pose a serious threat to his health and if anything happens to me in jail Asim Munir will be responsible. Human rights advocates argue that continued confinement without adequate medical access violates basic detainee rights and international standards.
Calls are growing for immediate, independent medical evaluation, restoration of family and legal access, and an end to solitary confinement, as concerns mount over the former prime minister’s wellbeing.
