Imran Khan’s Sister Aleema Khan Reveals His Battle with Isolation and Emotional Toll

Aleema Khan, sister of the jailed former Pakistani Prime Minister and cricket legend Imran Khan, has spoken out about her brother’s current condition, revealing that he is struggling with feelings of isolation and psychological stress.

After weeks of being blocked from visiting him, Uzma Khan, another sister, has finally been allowed to see Imran Khan in jail. This development comes amid ongoing concerns over his mental health and wellbeing.

Earlier this year, Imran Khan disclosed that General Asim Munir had approached his wife, Bushra Khan, through intermediaries when Imran Khan, then Prime Minister, had removed Asim Munir from his position as DG ISI. Bushra Khan declined to meet with him, stating she had no involvement in these matters.

In an interview with Girish Sawlani of ‘The World,’ Aleema Khan provided insight into her brother’s condition, emphasizing the emotional and psychological toll of his imprisonment and the ongoing political challenges he faces.
