Former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s sister, Noreen Khan, has expressed serious concern over his health and conditions in custody, citing information she says has been received from inside the prison.
According to Noreen Khan, people who recently met Imran Khan reported that he is unwell and has been suffering from severe nausea and stomach-related illness.
She also questioned why Imran Khan is not being allowed to be examined or treated by his personal physicians despite his reported condition. Noreen Khan said it is difficult to place confidence in external or official medical boards when there are concerns about his health and safety.
Additionally, she voiced concerns about restrictions on access and prolonged isolation, alleging that such circumstances make it impossible to independently verify his welfare and raising fears about the safety of his food and overall well-being.
Noreen Khan called for transparency regarding Imran Khan’s health and access to independent medical care.
