Islamabad High Court to Hear Two Key Cases of Imran Khan on March 11

by Advocate Khalid Yousaf Chaudry

The Islamabad High Court is scheduled to hear two important cases involving former Prime Minister Imran Khan on March 11, 2026.

The first hearing will take place at 9:00 AM before Inam Amin Minhas in the case titled Aleema Khan vs. Superintendent Central Jail Adiala Rawalpindi.

In the petition, Aleema Khan has requested the court to ensure family access to Imran Khan, particularly during medical examinations and treatment. The petition also seeks timely and complete information regarding his health and safety and asks that the family be involved in all medical procedures.

The petition further requests that Imran Khan be examined by his preferred physicians, including Khurram Mirza, Asim Yusuf, Faisal Sultan, and Samina Niazi. It also calls for comprehensive blood tests and arrangements to transfer him to Shifa International Hospital if necessary for treatment.

Additionally, the petition demands continuous access to doctors, family members, and advisors during custody, along with the release of all medical reports, including eye examination reports, diagnostic tests, and blood test results. This is the first formal constitutional petition filed by the family regarding Imran Khan’s reported eye condition.

Later in the day, at 11:30 AM, a division bench comprising Sarfraz Dogar and Azam Khan will hear bail applications of Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi in the Al-Qadir Trust case.

Meanwhile, the bail application in Toshakhana Case 2 remains pending objections and has not yet been fixed for hearing.
