The Islamabad High Court has adjourned the hearing on a petition seeking the transfer of former Prime Minister Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital for medical treatment.
During the proceedings, the court expressed its intention to decide the matter on the same day. However, the hearing was postponed after Imran Khan’s counsel, Sardar Latif Khosa, was reportedly not fully prepared regarding the relevant jail rules required for the case.
As a result, the bench adjourned the case until the day after tomorrow, giving the legal team additional time to present arguments and clarify the legal framework concerning prison regulations and medical transfer.
The petition seeks Imran Khan’s transfer to Shifa International Hospital for a medical examination and treatment. The case will now resume at the Islamabad High Court in the next hearing.
