Is Imran Khan being poisoned in Gen Asim Muneer Custody ?

Serious questions are being raised about the health of Pakistan’s former Prime Minister, Imran Khan — and about what may have happened to him behind prison walls.

According to a detailed report submitted to Pakistan’s Supreme Court by a court-appointed Amicus Curiae, Khan’s medical condition has significantly deteriorated during his detention. The most alarming claim is an 85 percent loss of vision in his right eye, reportedly due to Central Retinal Vein Occlusion — a condition commonly linked to underlying health risk factors.

But here is where the story becomes deeply controversial.

Medical experts consulted in the report state that Khan does not appear to have the typical risk factors associated with CRVO — such as uncontrolled hypertension, diabetes, elevated cholesterol, smoking, glaucoma, or known clotting disorders.

That absence raises a critical question: if not the usual causes, then what?

Some physicians reviewing the case argue that a broader medical investigation is urgently required — including testing for hypercoagulable states and possible toxic exposure. The report suggests that concerns of deliberate medical neglect cannot be dismissed without a comprehensive, independent toxicological evaluation.

It goes further.

Dr. Rana Imran, the physician who initially treated Khan, did not have the required specialization or credentials to manage such a complex ophthalmologic emergency. That amounts to malpractice and medical sabotage.

International doctors have also called for deeper investigation into potential systemic causes that, if left untreated, could threaten not only his remaining vision but other organs.

And then there is the broader context.

The United Nations has previously stated that prolonged solitary confinement, to which Imran Khan has been subjected, constitutes psychological torture under international law.

Delayed treatment, restricted access to independent doctors, and insufficient transparency about his medical records signal a pattern of sinister concealment with mala fide intentions.

Political analysts are asking whether Asim Munir is re-enacting the “Morsi model” in Pakistan.

That comparison is politically explosive.

Analysts have observed that Imran Khan is in personal custody of Gen. Asim Munir and is being kept in Adiala Jail under army control. Adiala Jail is described as a lawless black site. Pakistan’s Constitution, courts, and legal orders do not apply there. It is run on Asim Munir’s command through a serving colonel.

Imran Khan’s appeals have not been entertained for over a year now.

All these elements point to a personal vendetta-like pattern.

Therefore, nothing can be ruled out. Sources privy to jail protocols set for Imran Khan reveal that his food supply is under strict control of an army colonel with direct supervision of Gen. Asim Munir.

Political analysts have been speculating that the Asim Munir regime has decided to eliminate or severely incapacitate Imran Khan as part of a quid-pro-quo London plan agreement with Nawaz Sharif. Hence, this gives rise to specialist claims that Khan’s food supply may have been adulterated with a low dosage of poison.

Medical experts agree on one point: an atypical CRVO case in a high-profile detainee demands a fully transparent, independent, and internationally supervised medical evaluation.

The continued refusal of the government to allow independent doctors and family presence has fueled speculation of a cover-up and a sinister game plan.

This is no longer just about one man’s eyesight. The entire country is headed for a meltdown if the speculations are not addressed to the satisfaction of Imran Khan’s family and personal doctors under the supervision of independent doctors.

Until an independent investigation is allowed, the questions will only grow louder.
