The legal counsel of former Prime Minister Imran Khan has told that prison authorities have refused to facilitate signatures on appeal documents and power of attorney required for filing a case in the Supreme Court.
According to his lawyer Khalid Yousaf Chaudry, this refusal is a deliberate attempt to deny Khan access to justice and hinder his right to pursue legal remedies. He stated that such actions raise serious concerns about due process and fairness, particularly at a time when key cases are pending for hearing.
The lawyer further claimed that whenever Khan’s cases come up for proceedings, instances of injustice become increasingly apparent, fueling concerns over transparency in the legal process.
