A local court on Tuesday approved bail in seven cases related to former Prime Minister Imran Khan and in one case concerning Bushra Bibi.

The decision was announced by Judge Afzal Majoka, who confirmed the bail pleas during the hearing. According to the defense, the cases had been pending for nearly three years before the bail was finally confirmed.

Speaking to the media after the proceedings, Barrister Salman Safdar stated that it was regrettable that it took three years for these bail applications to be confirmed. He added that in the case they argued before the court, no substantial evidence had emerged against his client.
