According to information received through Bushra Bibi’s family, a recent meeting between Bushra Bibi and Imran Khan has revealed serious concerns regarding Khan Sahib’s health.

During the meeting held last week, Imran Khan informed Bushra Bibi that he had been experiencing blurred vision in one eye for the past two weeks. He repeatedly raised this issue with jail authorities and medical staff, but no action was taken. Eventually, a junior doctor was sent to examine him, who reportedly stated that the condition was beyond his capacity and appeared serious.

Following this assessment, doctors from PIMS (Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences) were called in. The PIMS doctors reportedly stated that Imran Khan’s treatment was not possible within the jail facility and warned that any further delay could result in permanent loss of vision. Despite resistance from jail authorities, who insisted on conducting treatment inside the jail, the PIMS doctors proceeded to transfer Imran Khan to the hospital against the wishes of jail staff.

The update states that Imran Khan’s condition has since improved; however, he has not yet fully recovered. The situation has renewed concerns about the adequacy of medical care being provided to him during his detention and the risks posed to his health.
