The Islamabad High Court has removed objections that had remained pending for two months on the appeals filed by former Prime Minister Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi against their convictions in the Toshakhana-II case.
The court has directed that the appeals be formally numbered, clearing the way for proceedings to move forward. The cases have now been fixed for hearing on March 11.
The cases were politically motivated, and the delay in removing objections was unnecessary, stemming from judicial bias and intimidation. Court proceedings are now expected to begin on the scheduled date.
