Aleema Khan, Sisters of Imran Khan, Blocked and Detained by Police During Attempt to Visit Former PM

Earlier today, Aleema Khan reported that she and her sisters were stopped by police from Adiala and taken to Chakri while attempting to meet Imran Khan in accordance with court orders and his legal rights. According to her statement, after the detention, the family informed the police of their intention to proceed to Islamabad, but the officers unlawfully blocked them and held them at the post for four hours before eventually releasing them.

The family now plans to hold a press conference at 7:30 pm in Banigala.

Imran Khan is currently in solitary confinement and is reportedly suffering from Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO), with an estimated 85% vision loss. His family has repeatedly demanded a fair medical examination, including the inclusion of his personal doctors on the medical board overseeing his treatment.

Today was supposed to be a meeting day for the family, but the authorities arrested his sisters, transported them to a distant location, and once again blocked access to the former prime minister.
