Aleema Khan, sister of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, has categorically rejected the medical reports circulating in the media regarding her brother’s health.

In a statement, Aleema Khan said that the family does not accept the authenticity of the reports being shared publicly. She stated that their personal physician, Dr. Asim Yousuf, spoke to the doctors concerned on the previous night and was briefed about the procedure and treatment that had allegedly been carried out. However, she maintained that there is “no way for us to verify any of this.”

Expressing heightened concern, Aleema Khan reiterated the family’s demand that Imran Khan be urgently transferred to Shifa International Hospital for a comprehensive medical examination. She said the examination should be conducted by qualified specialists under the supervision of Dr. Asim Yousuf and in the presence of family members.

She further announced that the family will visit Adiala Jail at 1:30 pm on Tuesday and expects authorities to allow them to meet Imran Khan, calling it his legal right. According to her statement, the family plans to hold a press conference outside Adiala Jail at 4:00 pm following the meeting.
